IMPORTANT NOTICE concerning SAFE SANCTUARIES for Groups (Scouts, rehearsals, sports, etc.) Leaders are responsible for children/youth until they have left the church grounds. This means that even when the group meeting is over, a responsible adult should be present until all children/youth have been picked up! It is very helpful if time schedules are followed so that parents pick up at the appropriate time and children/youth are available for pick-up at the appropriate time! Thanks for helping us be safe!

SPIRITUAL GIFTS MINISTRY: The Nurture Committee, with Bill Bennett, is attempting to renew efforts to know more about our people, and to help assimilate them into ministries of the church. This effort was begun over a year ago, but was halted, for various reasons, in mid-stream. So be patient with us, once again, as we work to gather accurate information about you and your family members, including not only practical data, but details about your interests, skills, experience, hobbies and talents. Our goal is to help you become aware of your personal spiritual gifts and the opportunities that are available to you in the ministries at MSUMC. Feel free to contact Bill, Bruce, or Sylvia Jackson (chair of Nurture Committee) if you have questions, suggestions, or concerns.
ATTENTION PARENTS AND SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS!!!!!
Sunday School for younger elementary children (upstairs): Teachers are asked to bring students who are “late” being picked up to the room next to the breezeway (indigo colored door). There will be a caregiver there until all children are checked out! Any questions? Call the Church office 704-843-5905

DOLLAR-A-MONTH-CLUB
The fourth Sunday of every month is designated “Mission Sunday”. When you arrive for Worship a member of the Outreach Committee will give you a “dollar bill” with a paperclip attached. We ask that you attach a dollar to this “dollar” and then place it in the baskets during Service. These gifts will be used for mission outreach. The hope is that all members of the family will receive a blessing from sharing with those less fortunate. Thank you for your support. PS…….you may attach any amount to your “dollar”.
